You don’t have to search very far to find a lot free information on this subject. There are bookstores full of information for sale and you can just get the information free online.
Take advantage of demo accounts: This is probably the best tool you have in your arsenal, when you first start learning this. It’s as close as you can get to a real simulator of trading forex. Some people will say that you can’t get a real education from it, but I disagree.
I think as you get more advanced, you learn less from the demo, but when you’re first trying out this is the best thing you have. The demo account lets you learn your trading platform. If you make a mistake, no big deal. You can make trades, by looking at currency graphs and see how things par out. You don’t have to risk any money until you’re confident enough to do it.
Don’t go overboard with margin trading: You’re probably in one way or another going to eventually end up with a margin account. Logically you might not be able to piece it together, but you’re going to have the ability to trade a lot more money than you have in your account.
